Favorite Song Results

Hey guys happy 2007! Thanks so much for all the feedback we received over the holiday! It is awesome that every song on the CD was chosen by at least one person as their favorite song.

Here are the top 3 winners:
1st– Tears of the Saints
2nd– Carried to the Table
3rd– Sound of Melodies

We are so grateful for all of your support and we appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts! Because "Carried To the Table" was the second favorite song, we are adding it to our music player on MySpace. We have some really exciting things coming up in the near future so keep visiting www.leelandonline.com and www.myspace.com/leelandmusic for more information, and make sure you sign up for our newletter. We hope to see you all out on the road this year!

Hello,

My name is Zeth Smith and I'm a sutdent minister at a church in Texas. I took my students to the student life event Clarity over the holidays in Ft. Worth. You guys played thier which you did such an awesome job. We have a student led praise band and they along with myself where wondering if we could get the music to How Wonderful. My student would like the opportunity to try to learn how to play it for all the other student's in our church. I have call both essential and providential and I just e-mailed your managment in the Woodlands but although they tried they couldn't point me in the right direction. I would really appreciate any help that you could possibly send my way. Sorry if this has been an inconvience for you. Keep up the good work.

In Christ,
Zeth Smith

I voted for Carried To The Table
but it was really difficult, the cd has so many good songs.
May God bless all the members of the band, your parents, Kent Coley... Be humble, and God will help you and become you great people.
Best wishes from Brazil =]

Leeland, I heard you guys at Passion and was absolutely blown away by your music. It fed my weary soul. You guys need to come to Jersey! People need to hear your music. I am a student at Princeton Theological Seminary, and everyday I encounter people who are spiritually dead. Come to Jersey and allow the Lord to waken people with your music!

Hey guys! I just had a dream that I met you two nights ago. I agree with the outcome of the votes. Those Three songs are great. I sort of think it would have been better for people to choose the one that the album was named after first, but the other two songs are absolutely amazing and I can see why they were picked. I can't wait to see the updates of your site and your myspace!

I recently had the opportunity to see Leeland in concert on the Student Life Clarity tour. I must say, it was amazing! It was the first time I had heard your music, and I immediately loved it! At many times during the concert, I found myself on my knees, crying as God worked in my heart. My favorite song is Tears of the Saints. God did so much in me during your concert. Thanks so much to all of you! I love all of your songs and I can see how much you all have a heart for God and reaching out to the lost. I hope to be able to see Leeland in concert again soon.

Personally, one of my favorite songs has to be "Lift Your Eyes" but "Sound of Melodies" is a great song and what made me want to get the CD in the first place. All in all they're an awesome band.

It looks like you could use some feedback. I know how that goes with blogging. :)

I heard Carried to the Table for the first time last night. As a relativly conservative nearing 50 Mom, I'm not impressed with too much new music. Yours however is exceptional. The depth and sensitivity is refreshing and I hope to see you in Pensacola March 2. Keep up the good work!

yeah, wow. Listened to you guys for the first time and think that you guys have got something going on! Carry on speaking the truth about Jesus in your music! It's awesome how even the secular market is buying into your music!!(They're hungry for God and don't even know it!)
So, yeah, carry on my brothers and if you ever want to come to south africa sometime, feel free:)

Wow! I saw ya'll last Friday in Jackson, MS at Student Life Clarity. I had never heard of you guys before but since Friday your cd is all I've been playing. You're music and lyrics were amazing. Your solo on the piano "Carried To The Table" was beautiful and had all the girls with me including me, crying. I hope to get to see you guys again one day soon.

I really wanted to let you all know that I will be baptized this evening at the Easter Vigil and "Carried To The Table" will be playing in my head. That song has been a source of meditation for me in the last few weeks and has spoken to me like no other. It truly hits me to the core. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for the inspiration you have given to me.

I know I'm late with the voting but I have to agree that "Tears of the Saints" is the best of many great songs on your album. "Sounds of Melodies" is my second favorite song.

You guys opened for Sara Groves in Lufkin, and that's where I first heard of you. I sat by Leeland and Jack's mom (your biggest fan, btw!) and was MOVED by your music.

I'm dedicating my next book in The Last Witness series to you guys. You and Sara Groves and a few others really keep me motivated all those late night/early mornings of writing at 3 AM.

Lord bless you guys. You have a really great ministry.
